About Our School

At Rawlins High School, we support the CCSD #1 mission by placing our focus on ensuring that every student is successful both personally and academically. At RHS, we expect our students to: Be Here, Give Effort, Have Pride. Our curriculum is rigorous and we offer a variety of courses that will ensure that our students have the skills necessary to pursue a post-secondary education. In conjunction with the Carbon County Higher Education Center, we also offer several high quality vocational courses. Students also have the opportunity to leave high school with several college credits as well as job skills that will allow students to enter the workforce immediately after graduation. Whether our students choose to attend college or enter the workforce immediately, we are confident that we will prepare them for whichever path they choose.

Rawlins High School was one of the original five accredited high schools in the state of Wyoming. We adopted the Outlaw as our mascot in 1922. Go Outlaws!
