Best Buddies will have a meeting during lunch today in room 122. Pizza will be provided. Best Buddies will also be hosting a Hide and Seek popcorn buffet tomorrow evening, 7pm here at the school. Come enjoy a fun evening of friendship and fun, See you there.
TheXC team traveled to New Castle to compete in the 3A East conference meet this past Thursday. The girls team was led by the girls conference champion and girls 3A East conference runner of the year, Jamie Dirck. Her time of 20:21 was also a new personal best and moved her up into 6th on the Rawlins record board. Lauren Linn also earned all conference honors by placing 4th. Faith Fischer (16th) and Lexi Thorvaldson (20th) also helped pace the girls to a 3rd place finish as a team. The boys had 3 all conference runners led by Noah Blasi in 2nd with a time of 16:31, Logan Wells 5th with a time of 17:08, and Wilk Tanner 10th with a time of 17:52. Noah’s and Logan’s time put them 1st and 2nd on the boys all time leader board. Benson Tanner 11th, and Bryce Johnston 14th also helped the boys team as the boys finished just behind Buffalo in team standings earning 2nd as a team. The team will compete next Saturday in the state meet held in Cheyenne.
The Outlaw Stampede Marching Band performed at the 2025 Wyoming State Marching Band Festival in Casper this weekend. They truly left everything on the field and earned a rating of II - Excellent, and many positive compliments from judges and other directors on their performance, including fantastic solos by Wilk Tanner and Ashton Phipps.
